GM to Host Conference for Securities Analysts and Investors

2006-08-07 -- General Motors will host its 2006 Automotive Securities Analyst Event on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006.
The conference presentations are scheduled to begin at approximately 10 a.m. EDT and end by noon. P resentation material and live audio webcasts will be available on GM's investor website at http://investor.gm.com in the Calendar/Events section under Recent Events. Presentation materials will be available at 9:45 a.m. EDT.

To access the 10:00 a.m. EDT conference call, please dial 1-888-666-4850 (212-271-4601 for international callers) 10 minutes prior to the start time and ask to be connected to the General Motors conference call.

A taped replay of the call will be made available from 2:00 p.m. EDT, Aug. 9, 2006 until 2:00 p.m. EDT, Aug. 11, 2006. Please dial 1-800-633-8284 (402-977-9140 for international access) and enter reservation number 21298384 to access the taped replay.
